Memorandum of Understanding published between all parties.
The U.S. Departments of Energy, Homeland Security, and Housing and Urban Development announced last week that they have executed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This agreement enhances collaboration between the federal agencies and the commonwealth so they can help accelerate and finalize the modernization of Puerto Rico’s power grid.
“As Puerto Rico continues to rebuild and recover, we will work with our interagency partners to help create a more sustainable future and ensure communities have access to affordable energy and cleaner air,” said Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “This administration is making unprecedented investments in communities to help them adapt and become more resilient, and we will continue to provide the necessary resources to achieve these goals.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Mayorkas to seek God’s direction as he supports the efforts to modernize the power grid in Puerto Rico.
- For the HUD and Energy secretaries as they oversee the projects being implemented by their departments.
- For leaders in Puerto Rico as the updates are made to the power grid.
